Welcome to our Change of chain, Summer party, and Award giving ceremony

A new Rotary year begins, and that feels like a good reason to stop for a moment. We’ll come together for an evening that marks the change of chain, celebrates summer, and recognises the people and efforts that shaped the past year. There will be familiar faces, a few speeches, some well‑earned thanks, and time to talk without rushing. It’s meant to be relaxed, a little festive, and very much about being together as one Rotary community as we step into the 2026-2027 era.

Event Details:

Event: HIRC Change of chain, Summer party and Award giving ceremony 2025-26

Date: Monday, 8th of June at 18:00, RSVP by 20th of May 2026

Venue: Restaurant Meritorppa, Hotel Hilton, Kalastajatorpantie 1, Helsinki.

Highlight: Celebrate the achievements of outgoing President Nurer Zaman Bhuiyan and the board, and welcome incoming President Thommy Djupenstrom and his board 2026-27.

Dinner: Seasonal 3-course menu with a pre-selected main course (meat, fish, or vegetarian).

Fee: 66 € per person to be paid in advance to the club’s bank account (FI58 1544 3000 3662 08)
